THE HIGH PRIESTESS

A NEW PLAY BY ANDREW MARTINI

The High Priestess was produced by Permafrost Theatre Collective and recorded and broadcast live from The Dragon’s Egg in Ledyard, CT in 2021. Rachel also directed a staged reading of The High Priestess as a part of the Emerging Artists Theatre’s 2022 New Works Series, October 2022.

 

ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD

A GENDER-BENT ADAPTATION OF THE CLASSIC TOM STOPPARD PLAY

This gender-bent, 90-minute version of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead was originally produced by 3DaysPrior at the Theater Upstairs at St. Paul’s in Williamsburg, NY in June of 2019. After its sold out run there, it was invited to be remounted as a part of The Brick’s Shakespeare Festival where it had a second sold-out run in August of 2019. All photos by Sam Grant.

A PLAY BY SARAH KANE

Staged as a Studio Lab at Skidmore College in the spring of 2017, this production of Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis aimed to reinvent the text as more than a suicide note. Inspired in part by events in Rachel’s hometown, the production explored the ripple effects a suicide has throughout a community, and the human connections that persevere in the face of mental illness.Photos by Dante Haughton.
